07/17/21 - We headed off to try fishing some deeper water today and found mixed results. One area had very little life, while another produced good action on the shorts and some nicer keepers as well as our biggest fluke of the season.A mix of nicer sized seabass we’re added to the coolers. John Farrell of Haskel, NJ took the pool honors with his 8 pound 14 ounce fluke. Ron Becker is Springfield, NJ had his limit of fluke and seabass to take high hook. Sailing tomorrow at 6am. Mike and I will see you then.TAKE NOTICE…our second fluke marathon will be held this Monday and it is currently fully booked so we will be not sailing open boat.
