NICE DAY FOR FISHING

06/09/21 - It was a nice day on the water for the guys and gals who came out today. Slow start this morning with the wind against tide and no drift for the first part of the day. Waited for the tide change and got in a couple of drifts with mainly shorts and some keepers in the mix. The bite in the area eventually petered out and we spent the last part of the day checking out a couple of new areas. Mike Melillo, Berkley Heights, worked it all day and got his limit and Charlie Krippendorf, Spring Lake, took the pool. Working hard every day and ready to do it again tomorrow. SAILING 7:30 AM.
