LOOKING FOR BETTER DAYS
07/13/21 - Not much to report the past couple of days. After having good fishing on Sunday the past two days have been tough. Yesterday we started right back where we had fish the day before but they did not bite for us. A few shorts, a couple of keepers up to 5 pounds and a few nice seabass were all the guys could manage. Bounced around a bunch of areas and had pretty much the same results everywhere. Today the east wind was blowing harder than predicted making for a rough ocean. We fished several areas in the bay and again had a few shorts and an occasional keeper pretty much everywhere we stopped. Tony "THE FLUKEMAN" Satus, Old Bridge, took the pool with a 4 pound fish. Hopefully tomorrow the ocean calms down and we can get back into the ocean where we have been finding our fish lately. Back at it tomorrow. SAILING 7:30 AM. Al and I will see you in the morning. WE STILL HAVE OPEN SPOTS FOR OUR AUGUST 2 FLUKE MARATHON. JUST CALL THE OFFICE # (732-541-2169) TO BOOK A SPOT.
