BEST DAY OF FLUKE SEASON (SO FAR)!

06/02/21 - We had our best fishing of the young fluke season today with plenty of short action as well as limits. Found a body of fish on Melanie's Ridge and worked it hard all day. For the first time this season the spros/gulps worked as well as the natural baits. There were keepers around the boat with Cathy and Mike Melillo, Berkeley Heights, each getting their limit from the eight legal fluke that they had for the day. Nice work folks! Bill Burns, North Arlington, took the pool with a nice 4 1/2 pound fish. Back at it tomorrow. Sailing 7:30 AM. See you in the morning.
