THURSDAY FLUKE UP TO 9 POUNDS!-- GUSTY NE WIND FRIDAY SO WE ARE NOT FISHING!!--WILL POST UPDATE ABOU
A good group of mainly EB II regulars took advantage of the light wind forecast today. Started the day back where we fished yesterday but could only find short action. Decided to head off into deeper water and spent the rest of the day picking away on each drift with fish up to 9 pounds. A couple of the folks managed two keepers each, some had one each and some, unfortunately, were bitten by the short bug. Rich Reed, Stillwater, took the pool with a 9 pound 1 ounce BEAUTY! Nice fish Rich!! The forecast is a washout for FRIDAY and we ARE NOT FISHING. The SATURDAY forecast is no better but I do not like to cancel more than one day in advance just on the slimmest of chances that the forecast might improve so I will post the update tomorrow (FRIDAY).
