FISHING REPORT

May 31, 2020

We had a nice group of regulars out to enjoy a lovely day on the water.  Covered a bunch of ground once again finding some fish to work on in a couple of shallow areas.  A few nicer fish today with some short action to go with it.  Mike Schmidt, Cranford, had a pair of nice fish and tied for the pool with Pete Burrows, Hillsdale.  A BIG THANKS goes out from all of the guys aboard today to Ken and Melanie for making and bringing lunch for everyone!  You guys are the best!  WE ARE SAILING EVERY DAY.  WEEKDAYS at 7:30 AM and WEEKENDS/HOLIDAYS at 6:00 AM.  If you want to let me know that you are coming down during the week on a certain day then please feel free to leave a mes...

The fluke fishing has been slow so far with the bulk of our fish being caught in the shallows with the warmest water.  We are working hard every day to find action and get some keepers for the coolers.  We are fishing every day sailing 7:30 AM WEEKDAYS and 6:00 AM ON WEEKENDS & HOLIDAYS.  We have plenty of openings for FRIDAY and a handful of openings still remaining for both SATURDAY & SUNDAY so call before they are gone.  Jim Anderson, Lake Hopatcong, took the Wednesday pool and Wayne Pinder, Bound Brook, took the Thursday pool with one of his keepers.  Back at it tomorrow.  See you in the morning.
