Fished today with our regular toggers. Wind against tide most of the day made for LOUSY anchoring conditions but the guys worked hard at it and wound up with a decent catch of fish up to 6 pounds. We would like to wish all of you a safe and Happy Thanksgiving! Our next trip will be Friday! SAILING 7:00 AM DAILY. See you Friday morning.
Today's weather was very nice as forecast for a good group of mostly EB II tog regulars. The best of our fishing today was this morning before the tide changed and anchoring conditions went into the toilet. Tried a couple of different areas and had some shorts and a few keepers off of each spot to finish the day. Ed Bailik, Woodbridge, had four keepers and tied for the pool with "Blackfish Jack" Tabor, Paramus. The weather looks okay for tomorrow so we will be fishing. SAILING 7:00 AM DAILY (EXCEPT THANKSGIVING DAY). See you in the morning.
Saturday weather was nice for a good group of mostly EB II regulars. Fished the areas we have been working recently and had a few keepers off of each spot but could not get them chewing good like we had them recently or on Friday. Mike Stefaniewicz, Keansburg, had three keepers including the pool fish.
The forecast for Monday looks nice with diminished west wind which is ideal for where we are fishing and Tuesday looks perfect with light wind and high temps near 60 degrees. We already know of a group of our Saturday guys coming back Tuesday so pick a day and go fishing!! SAILING 7:00 AM DAILY. See you Monday morning.
Thursday fishing was very tough for the nice gang of toggers that came out on a nice day with only a handful of keepers everywhere we went. Jack Decker, Blairstown, took the pool. The fish were chewing today and the guys were able to enjoy a one drop day with everyone going home with a nice catch of keepers up to limits and plenty of short action in between to keep the fellas busy all day. Steve Kucinski, Edison, took the pool. Click "Read more" for additional pictures. Saturday looks like the nicer day of the weekend so take advantage of it. Back at it tomorrow. SAILING 7:00 AM DAILY. Crabs supplied. See you in the morning.
