DECENT FISHING TODAY
07/20/21 - After our best day of the season yesterday we went right back there again. We did not have the red hot bite as we did yesterday. We found decent fishing and ended up with a bunch of nice keepers along with a bunch of seabass to add to the coolers. Tom Hollywood Jr., Staten Island, NY, took the pool honors .Back at it tomorrow. FANTASTIC FLUKE MARATHON!
071921 - We sailed today on our 2nd Fluke Marathon trip of the season and everyone aboard enjoyed a day of excellent fishing. We headed off to the deep and found good drifting conditions and the BITE WAS ON !!! Although the drift in the deeper water required 8, 10 and even 12 oz. sinkers at times, everyone was able to get it done and was rewarded with some really nice keeper fluke and some of the biggest seabass we have seen in a while. 07/18/21 - Sailed this morning with a light group of regulars. Headed back to the deep water where we had nice fish yesterday and found very similar results minus one doormat. Plenty of shorts and a some VERY NICE keepers (20 inches and better) plus the usual seabass to pad the coolers. Mark G. from Bethlehem, PA, took the pool honors. Junior Elaine B II angler "Jacxs" boated 2 nice keepers and his 2 seabass limit....."STRONG WORK" for a 10 year old !!! Tomorrow is our
OUR BIGGEST FLUKE SO FAR
07/17/21 - We headed off to try fishing some deeper water today and found mixed results.One area had very little life, while another produced good action on the shorts and some nicer keepers as well as our biggest fluke of the season.A mix of nicer sized seabass we’re added to the coolers. John Farrell of Haskel, NJ took the pool honors with his 8 pound 14 ounce fluke. Ron Becker is Springfield, NJ had his limit of fluke and seabass to take high hook. Sailing tomorrow at 6am.
