06/17/21 - After a very slow day yesterday with wind against tide all day the guys found much better fishing today with nice drifting conditions. The fellas had good short action with some nice fish in the mix. Catches ranged up to a limit for Joe Carella, Millburn. Steve Herczegh, Spotswood, took the pool with a 4 ¾ pound fish. Weather looks great for tomorrow so come on down. SAILING 7:30 AM. Mike and I look forward to seeing you in the morning.
06/15/21 - Tough day on the fluke grounds. It was one of those days where we could not find a drift anywhere we went and as a result the guys and gals managed only a handful of keepers to go along with some shorts today. Thanks to all of you for fishing hard and doing your best to catch what you did catch. Mike Melillo took the pool with a nice 6.1 pound fish. Back at it tomorrow. SAILING 7:30 AM. Al and I will see you in the morning.
06/14/21 - The weather forecast kept most fishermen home today and we were only one of two Raritan Bay boats to fish today. The guys that did come down were treated to a nice day with wind and tide together most of the day to give us drift and a good pick all day in a couple of different areas. Again, the majority of the keepers were quality fish that did not need to be measured. Several guys had two keepers each and most of the rest had at least one to take home. Richard
06/13/21 - Nice day on the fluke grounds once again. Had to wait for the drift today and when we got it the guys had a good pick on mostly quality keepers today. The majority of today's keepers were around 3 pounds and James Williams, Garfield, took the pool with a 4 1/2 pound fish. There were no limits today but the keepers were spread around with several guys having two nice fish for the coolers. Only a couple of the fellows failed to get at least one fish to take home.
