The forecast kept most guys home today. We fished with a small group of regulars and were one of the only fluke boats to sail. We had very nice drifting conditions and fished the shallows all day. Only one person failed to manage a keeper and a couple of guys managed two keepers each. Better short action than we saw over the weekend as well. At least we have an area to start in tomorrow. It was another beautiful day on the grounds for our crew of fluke regulars today. Pretty much the same fishing as yesterday. We checked out some new areas once again today but, like yesterday, found the best life in shallow waters in our bay. The fish we have caught were all taken on boat bait rather than spros or gulps thus far. We start our regular summer schedule tomorrow sailing WEEKDAYS AT 7:30 AM and WEEKENDS at 6:00 AM. Started the NJ fluke season today with a good group of our fluke regulars. The crew worked hard and ended up with a few keepers and some shorts on the day. Most of our fish came from the shallow waters of our bay with only a handful of fish elsewhere. Still lots of laughs for all on a calm day. SAILING TOMORROW (Sunday) we are sailing 7:00 AM. See you in the morning. Starting Monday we begin our regular fluke schedule sailing 6 AM WEEKENDS and 7:30 AM WEEKDAYS.

How often could one hope to see a LARGE whale AT THEIR DOCK! This beauty was literally 10 FEET off the bow of my boat at one point but it wasn't until I heard it there that I ran to get my camera.........
