Today was the opening day for the fall seabass season. Unfortunately, the weather forecast for gale winds into this morning kept most guys home for ALL of the area boats as NONE sailed today. Weather looks great for tomorrow (Friday) with light wind and we will be ready to fish. SAILING 7:00 AM DAILY. See you in the morning.
We were happy with the mixed bag fishing that we had today. There was plenty of action, which included blackfish, porgies, blowfish, triggerfish and seabass, to keep the guys busy. Most of today's crew opted to stick with the green crabs for some pre-season tog action and put very little effort into the porgies. We have green crabs and clams onboard.
