To all of our fishing friends I am reporting the sad news of the passing of Captain Stan, Sr. on Sunday, April 19, in his sleep, after a short illness. His love of the sea began in the early-1950's when he started fishing on the family skiff every weekend in Raritan Bay or the ocean with my grandfather and it never ended. He left the electronics industry in 1974 in order to start his own fishing business, first with the original Elaine B before purchasing the current Elaine B
