Nice December blackfish conditions today for some of our regulars with just enough breeze to keep the anchor lines tight on a one drop day. The guys were pleased with the steady bite they had today with almost everyone going home with three or four keepers each and plenty of 14-14 1/2" shorts to keep everyone busy. Ed Bialick, Woodbridge, took the pool. Click on "Read More" for additional pictures. Tomorrow sounds windy while Friday's forecast sounds great with light westerly wind. We already have guys coming back on Friday from today so take advantage of the nice day and join them!! SAILING 7:00 AM DAILY (Weather permitting). See you Friday morning!!...
We will let the ocean settle on Tuesday and will be BACK FISHING ON WEDNESDAY with a nice forecast. SAILING 7:00 AM DAILY. See you Wednesday morning.

It was a nice day to be on the blackfish grounds with a good group of mainly regulars today. We fished a couple of different areas with fish in both but the better action still in the shallower water. High hook wound up with four keepers and the highlight of the day was the 13 pound 4 ounce BEAUTY caught by Jim Anderson, Lake Hopatcong, which took the pool and is his personal-best tog. Congratulations Jim! SAILING 7:00 AM DAILY (WEATHER PERMITTING).
Fished today with our regular toggers. Wind against tide most of the day made for LOUSY anchoring conditions but the guys worked hard at it and wound up with a decent catch of fish up to 6 pounds. We would like to wish all of you a safe and Happy Thanksgiving! Our next trip will be Friday! SAILING 7:00 AM DAILY. See you Friday morning.
